William Jackson was appointed to the Board of Commissioners of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles (CRA/LA) by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and approved by the Los Angeles City Council on October 12, 2005. Mr. Jackson is Chairman of the CRA/LA.

Mr. Jackson is a partner in the Pircher, Nichols and Meeks law firm, a major national real estate law firm. He has over 16 years of experience representing clients in complex commercial real estate transactions. He also has experience as a trustee fiduciary of a $12 billion public safety defined benefit plan.

Mr. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor from Stanford University Law School.
