SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A DRAFT MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PROPOSED DEMOLITION OF EXISTING ELEVEN STRUCTURES AND A VACANT PAVED LOT AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF 126 RESIDENTIAL UNITS AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF RIVERTON AVENUE AND MAGNOLIA BOULEVARD IN THE NORTH HOLLYWOOD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES (see attached map)
Project Description The proposed project entails the demolition of the site’s eleven existing structures (which currently include 14 occupied residential units and one vacant unit), as well as the removal of the vacant paved lot. The proposed project would result in the construction and operation of 126 residential units comprising 100,246 sf; 10,463 sf of interior community room/common area/theatre spaces, 18,830 sf of open spaces, and 192 parking spaces and other ancillary facilities.
Public Review and Consideration of the Project by the Agency
A proposed Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared for the proposed project described above. The Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration is available on the CRA website (www.crala.org) and at the CRA Records Department at 354 S. Spring Street, Suite 500, (between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm) Los Angeles, CA 90013. The review period begins on March 24, 2009 and will end on April 13, 2009. Comments must be submitted in writing by 5:00 p.m, April 13, 2009. Please address comments to Mr. W. Consideration of the Proposed Project
Notice is hereby given that staff of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) of the City of Los Angeles may consider adoption of the Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration and clearance of the associated demolition permit for the proposed project, on April 15, 2009.
