Description:

Artists Alan Nakagawa and Alessandra Moctezuma created a book and video highlighting the importance and history of the produce industry to Downtown Los Angeles. Each are available for viewing at the following locations: the LA Central Library; Little Tokyo Library; Jovenes, Inc.; Para Los Ninos; and in the main offices of the LA Wholesale Produce Market and LA City Market.

Photographs are of a reception held at the Market Place Restaurant in the heart of the produce district at the conclusion of the project.
