Activities

• The Plan Amendment consultant completed the physical blight survey and GIS has uploaded approximately 60% of the data into their database system.
• GIS staff is reviewing all survey forms for errors and as needed, the Consultant is currently correcting any omitted or incomplete information on the forms.
• CRA/LA continues to meet with the Steering Committee, completing a draft of the Redevelopment Plan goals and objectives and beginning to draft the section on development controls and the initial 5-Year Implementation Plan.
• The draft Notice of Preparation was sent out on August 27th and the EIR scoping meeting has been scheduled for 9/15/10. Comments on the Draft EIR must be recieved no later than September 28, 2010.

Next Steps

• Complete data entry for physical blight survey.
• Complete economic blight data collection and begin compiling both the physical and economic blight data into a draft report.
• Draft Redevelopment Plan permitted land uses and development controls.
• Execute contract for the leagal description.
• Transmit Statement of Preparation to Taxing Entities.
