Building & Other Permit Approval
The Monterey Hills Redevelopment Plan requires CRA/LA's review and approval of any permit application before the Department of Building and Safety can issue a building permit. The redevelopment plan for Monterey HIlls contains development standards regarding land use, density, design and increased sensibility to historic structures. Developers and contractors are advised to contact Julia Stewart, City Planner, at (213) 977-1730 or via e-mail to jstewart@cra.lacity.org early in the process in order to prevent last minute difficulties.

 Permits may be obtained through the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety at their public counters:
