Jenny Scanlin Jenny Scanlin is the Regional Administrator for CRA/LA’s Downtown, Eastside and Harbor Regions. The Downtown Region is comprised of the Bunkerhill, Central Industrial, Chinatown, City Center, Council District 9 and Little Tokyo project areas. The Harbor Region is comprised of Beacon Street, Pacific Corridor, and LA Harbor Industrial Center Redevelopment project areas. . The Eastside Region is comprised of the Adelante Eastside and Monterey Hills project areas.

General DescriptionRedevelopment GoalsGeography

The Eastside Region consists of two project areas, including the Adelante Eastside Redevelopment Project and the Monterey Hills Redevelopment Project. The region’s priority projects are designed to provide housing and business opportunities.

 

 

These include revitalizing the industrial base, increasing commercial choices, providing low interest residential rehabilitation loans, public improvements and lot conversions.
 

 

The Region's Monterey Hills project is a 100% Residential Redevelopment Project situated four miles northeast Downtown Los Angeles.

The Adelante Eastside Project is immediately East of Los Angeles along the Eastern Edge of the Los Angeles River and is predominantly Industrial and commercial in nature
