Description:
The Program seeks to enhance the commercial environment by improving the physical appearance of storefronts as a way of ensuring thriving commercial areas within the Redevelopment Project. The program provides interested eligible property owners with up to $25,000 in improvements per storefront in identified targeted areas. CRA/LA will provide design and technical assistance and will supervise all phases of the project from design to construction. The participating Property owners will assume responsibility for maintaining the new improvements over a 10-year period.

Site:
The properties currently targeted for this program must be located on 6th Street between Serrano Avenue on the east and Manhattan Place on the west. Other commercial areas within the Redevelopment Project will be identified as future targeted areas for funding.
