CRA/LA currently operates in 34 redevelopment project areas in seven regions throughout Los Angeles

Redevelopment Project Areas are designated as blighted by the CRA/LA Board, the Mayor and the City Council for which a redevelopment plan has been approved as required by California Community Redevelopment Law.

Disaster Recovery Redevelopment Project Areas focus on recovery from the 1992 civil disturbances in the City of Los Angeles.

Earthquake Recovery Project Areas focus on recovery from the 1994 Northridge Earthquake.
