Description:
Framed by the trees located along the west side of the YMCA's building is a cast bronze sculpture called "Handstand" by Milton Hebald. Perched on a 16' h base, "Handstand" is a towering sculpture of a young male athlete performing a handstand. This piece is believed to be modeled after the artist's grandson. The sculpture faces the Bonaventure Hotel and is visible from the nearby pedestrian bridge that connects the hotel with the YMCA.
